Little Artist Programme


TERM 2, 2018: PICASSO‘S PALETTE

An exploration of colour, colour mixing while learning about the artist Pablo Picasso. Students will learn about Picasso’s many phases and styles of art as well as his most famous Cubistic style. We will learn about colour mixing and colour names and categories too!  An exciting term of colourful art!   For age 5 – 12 years. (K-Y6)

 

NOTE: For classes starting at 3:15pm I will be at those venue, as usual when the bell rings, to meet & supervise students from the school between bell time and the start of their art class.

You do not need to go to these schools to join in the fun! Your child is welcome at any venue, time allowing.  
Cost?

$190 for 8 weeks per child      All Materials included.

Discount?

$10 off for regular  students (that means you have at least done a term with us before)

$5 per child Discounts available for siblings   (Discounts may not be used with other offers).

Payment due?

In full, by second week of the term. Payment does not have to be made when you book in your child unless your book through our online booking form. Invoices will be sent to you via email for payment.

Need to Bring?

Please bring an art shirt each week to protect clothes – this is a MUST!

Your child can bring a Snack & drink if they wish.

(note no peanut or egg snacks are allowed in any class)

How to book?

PRE-BOOKINGS: If your child is currently in a class this term,  you will receive an email asking if you want your child to return for term 2 to the same class.  You must confirm by Friday 16th March 2018 to ensure your child keeps their place in the class.  (Otherwise students on the 2018 waiting list will be offer your child’s place)

GENERAL BOOKINGS: Bookings are open for term 2  from Friday 23rd March 2018.  To book, simple email Elaine or ring her 0400 489 129.

MPPS students please note, that if you are not currently in a class, the only current option is to join the waiting list.  Contact Elaine to discuss.

TERM 3, 2018: PERSISTENCE OF DALI

During this term we will explore the art & life of artist Salvador Dali.  Students will learn about Dali’s interesting Surrealistic approach to his art and get surrealistically creative!  For age 5 – 12 years. (K-Y6)

Dates starts – Mon 30th July – Thur 2nd Aug 2018.  Finishes – Mon 17th Sept – Thur 20th Sept.

 

TERM 4, 2018: PAINTING WITH VAN GOGH

Meet the interesting Vincent Van Gogh and enjoy learning about his life and post impressionist style of art. Picture compostion, exploration of colour, and post impressionist techniques while learning about the artist Vincent Van Gogh. For age 5 – 12 years. (K-Y6)

Dates starts – Mon 15th – Thur 18th October 2018.  Finishes – Mon 3rd – Thur 6th December.
