Workshop Overview

Invent a playful spring critter that can draw, then bring it to life in a fun collaborative art game!

In this hands-on kids art workshop, participants design and build their own imaginative “scribble critter” — a quirky spring animal that creates drawings as it moves across paper. Using simple maker-style materials, children attach markers to their creature and explore how movement creates surprising patterns and shapes.

The workshop finishes with a lively group drawing activity where critters make marks on shared papers, turning the room into a playful drawing experiment full of colour and creativity.

Springtime Scribble Critters is one of the creative sessions offered through our Library & Vacation Care Art Workshops program, designed for libraries and vacation care venues across Western Sydney, The Hills District, Penrith and the Blue Mountains.
